Book Review: No Shelter (Zero Hour book 3) by Justin Bell & Mike Kraus

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

As with the previous two installments in this story, I do like the storytelling. There are moments that are really engrossing. However, the inconsistencies are starting to annoy me a lot. There’s a lot of mystery in stories such as these, and readers like me enjoy piecing together clues about how the disaster unfolds and developments in character that might help us understand their behaviors. Details are very important whenever there’s mystery because readers can feel closer to the action. The errors/inconsistencies are not on every page, but there are enough to push me out with frequency that feels disrespectful.

There’s already no problem with spelling or grammar, but this whole series could be next-level if it were subjected to a rigorous copy edit.  If you disagree, let me know why in the comments, below.
