Despite some concern I’d forgotten what happened in the first book, due to the delay between reading, I was immediately back into the story. But not due to any boring, repetitive text.
Druga reunited me with her characters and the plot by having Faye and Dodge speak in their ‘present day’ voices. Beautifully done.
I’d wondered how the author would handle an inevitable story of emotion and violence, which readers of this genre see so much of, an I was very happy with what I found.
Another gem from this author.
