Homeostasis Lost, by Kyan Yauchler

Commented at Amazon, 6 October 2013:

I am a huge fan of this genre, but sadly that often means wading through some rather rough writing. Not this time though!

The character development is just beautiful. All the characters – good and bad and everywhere middling. Yauchler brought such life to them that I feel I would recognise them if we met.

To those who were shocked by the end: If one hemisphere were hit like this, what would the other do? At the end of the day, Yauchler’s letting us connect our own dots.

This is a reasonably short read, but certainly a stand-alone book, and it’s excellent value for the price. Can we have the next one soon please?
