Armageddon, by Brian Clarke

I found this book very frustrating because the story itself has so much potential, but it needed to be thoroughly edited before publication. It’s written like a first-year university lecture series, dumbed down for a local boy scout troupe, to the point of being offensive to adult readers. That’s easily fixable, if the huge amount of repetition is deleted. The next edit should be to remove all the misogyny and shallow stereotypes – Brian, take care not to lose your female readership sector, or modern males. And the final edit should be for all the typos, misused punctuation and grammar. Edit and get rid of the stupid threesome (if you ran out of ideas, just end it when they found water), and this could be a work of art.
